The Association of New Mexico Activity Professionals, a 501 (c)(3) Non-Profit State organization, was founded in 1989 by a group of activity professionals who wanted to be able to offer quality resources and education to individuals in care giving professions.
ANMAP is an organization of and for activity professionals to increase their knowledge, growth, and recognition. Through our united efforts, activity professionals will continue to gain recognition for their contributions to the quality of life of those they serve.
Our organization is for personnel who work in Nursing Home Facilities, Senior Citizen Centers, Swingbeds, Adult Day Care, Assisted Living Communities, Alzheimer’s Units, Retirement Communities and the like.
We offer an Annual Conference, where individuals interested in advancing in their profession can acquire CEUs (Continuing Education Units) to satisfy educational requirements at both State and National levels.
Our annual conference offers qualified speakers and presenters on timely topics and the opportunity to network with others in the profession, as well as CEUs. It is also a venue where we offer an awards ceremony to recognize those who have made exceptional contributions to the profession.
